De band van Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters, brengt een nieuw album uit op 11 april.
Het album dat vooralsnog titelloos is, is het 7e studio album en werd geproduceerd door Butch Vig (o.a. bekend van Nirvana). Flarden van het nieuwe album zijn op de website Foofighters.fm te horen.
Tijdens het opname-proces heeft ex-Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic aan één nummer meegewerkt. Volgens Dave Grohl is dit hun stevigste album tot nu toe.
Foo Fighters staan op 25 februari als headliners in het Wembley Arena in London.
