If the success of a record producer can be judged by the weight of awards on their shelves, then Trevor Horn ranks as the world's number one. In an ADE panel chaired by Dave Clarke, Horn will give a presentation about his music production, past, present and future. Trevor Horn has been producing for over 40 years and has been dubbed The Man Who Invented The Eighties, because of his influence to the era's music. Horn began his career as a session musician and spent every spare moment messing around with primitive recording technology. Microphones, headphones, all manner of tapes decks, any sort of hardware he could lay his hands on would all come under his wing.
