Don Henley behoeft geen introductie en is samen met Glenn Frey de oprichter van The Eagles. Henley was betrokken bij de composities van de bekendste nummers als Desperado, One Of These Nights en Hotel California. Na het uiteengaan van the Eagles begon Don Henley een succesvolle solocarriere. Zijn eerste soloalbum ‘I Can’t Stand Still’ verscheen in 1982 twee jaar later volgde de blockbuster ‘Building The Perfect Beast’ met de USA #1 hit (Billboard) ‘Boys Of Summer’.
Op 26 juni verschijnt "The Very Best Of Don Henley" en bevat o.a. de tracks ‘Boys Of Summer’, ‘New York Minute’, ‘Not Enough Love In The World’ en ‘All She Wants To Do Is Dance’. Op 18 juli 2009 geven the Eagles opnieuw een concert in Nederland, dit keer in de Arnhemse Gelredome.
Er komen 2 configuraties: 1-CD met 14 songs en de Deluxe Edition bestaande uit de “Very Best of” CD en een DVD met 4 audio/bonus stukken en 6 videoclips
