Rockband Brand New uit New York brengt op vrijdag 18 september hun nieuwe album uit. Het vierde studio-album heet ‘Daisy’ en is geproduceerd door Brand New en Mike Sapone (Public Enemy, Taking Back Sunday) en gemixt door Dave Sardy (Wolfmother, Rage Against The Machine, Nine Inch Nails). ‘Daisy' gaat verder op het donkere gevoel waar het vorige album ‘The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me’ ophield.

Voornaamste songwriter en frontman Jesse Lacey over ‘Daisy’ in Kerrang magazine: "It's a pretty exhausting record. It's quite dense and I think some of the decisions we made don't always go in the most obvious direction. We were thinking a lot more about what we'd want to play when we were up onstage rather than actually what you'd want to hear on a record".
BRAND NEW is: Jesse Lacey, Brian Lane, Vinnie Accardi, Garrett Tierney
De groep is eind augustus even in Europa voor 2 festival optredens in Engeland, daarna gaat men door met een zeer uitgebreide tour door de US.
