19 April jl. verscheen het albumdebuut "Don't say a word" van de 20-jarige Stefan Schill, hij stond al voor een kort ontdekkingsoptreden in DWDD. Het album staat inmiddels in de Album Top 100 en ook het buitenland lonkt. De komende weken staat de Nederlandse blues-gitarist met zijn band op verschillende podia in Europa (zie hieronder). Zijn album is goed ontvangen.
Over het album: Net als bij zijn labelgenoot Scott McKeon is de Blues voor Stefan Schill niet het eindpunt maar juist het vertrekpunt om op te bouwen en te verrijken met diverse andere genres en stijlen. Grootheden als Prince en The Police maar ook recentere acts als John Mayer en Kings Of Leon klinken door in de puike songs. Want dat is waar het hier om draait. Geen duizend noten in een minuut en ellenlange solo’s, maar eerlijke gepassioneerde songs. Een nieuw Nederlands talent !
