Tweede album van Friese band Ilanois klaar

Ze durven wel, die jongens van Ilanois. Je tweede album laten produceren door Simon Gogorly (o.a. bekend geworden door werk voor U2 "How to dismantle an atomic bomb, New Order, Gwen Stefani, No Doubt en Andrea Corr) en laten mixen door Barny Barnicott (Editors, Placebo, Stereophonics). Dat kost enorm veel tijd en geld, maar het is het dubbel en dwars waard. ‘Chase The Sundown With Me’ is een fantastisch album geworden en is vanaf 28 januari 2011 verkrijgbaar via PIAS.

De Friese band ilanois brengt zijn nieuwe album ‘Chase The Sundown With Me’ in het najaar uit bij PIAS. Het album is opgenomen met producer Simon Gogerly die eerder werkte met bands als U2 en No Doubt.

Drie jaar geleden verscheen het met lovende recensies onthaalde debuutalbum ‘Do You Hear Me’ van het al in 1996 door singer/songwriter Ilan Palstra opgerichte illanois. ILANOIS: UIT FRIESLAND !!!

De Friese band Ilanois heeft in eigen contreien al een flinke schare fans
opgebouwd. Zo langzamerhand begint ook de rest van Nederland door te
krijgen dat er wat moois broeit in het uiterste Noorden van ons landje. Via
Eurosonic in januari jl. presenteerde de band zich in Groningen al aan het grote publiek.
Ilanois bezit dus de kwaliteiten om liedjes te schrijven die zich
acoustisch staande houden. Songs als “Do you hear me”, “Those are the days” en “Pouring rain” zijn dan ook tracks die zich...

radio tip: laser music poll
