De EP 'Hormoaning' van Nirvana is oorspronkelijk alleen in Australië uitgebracht in 1992, maar vanwege Record Store Day, 16 april a.s. wordt de EP in een gelimiteerde oplage uitgebracht op vinyl.
De EP werd oorspronkelijk alleen tijdens de band's 1992 Australian tour uitgebracht. Op de EP staan covers van nummers door DEVO, The Vaselines en The Wipers plus twee eigen nummers van Nirvana: 'Aneurysm' en 'Even in His Youth'. De nummers komen uit een BBC Radio 1 John Peel sessie.

Ieder jaar wordt onze popgeschiedenis weer aangevuld met vele nieuwe namen. Een enkeling groeit uit tot een popicoon, maar ook velen gaan de geschiedenis in als zogenaamde “one hit wonders”. Het gegeven van een “one hit wonder” ("Eendagsvlieg", "One day fly") is zeer interessant en het heeft vaak verschillende oorzaken waarom wij niets meer van een succesvolle artiest of band horen.
