De Schotse frontman James ‘Jim’ Kerr van the Simple Minds komt voor het eerst in 30 jaar tijd met een solo-album. Lostboy! A.K.A. Jim Kerr zal op 17 mei in Nederland verschijnen en op 31 mei zal Kerr t.g.v. dit album een concert geven in de Melkweg. Overigens betekent dit niet het einde van Simple Minds! Het Lostboy project is een lang gekoesterde wens van Kerr die hij nu eindelijk in vervulling laat gaat.

Op vrijdag 25 mei zal het nieuwe album van de Schotse band Simple Minds uitkomen genaamd: 'Graffiti Soul'.
De groep bestaat sinds 1978 en werd indertijd opgericht door Charlie Burchill, Jim Kerr, Brian McGee en Tony Donald.
Momenteel bestaat Simple Minds uit: Jim Kerr: zang, Charlie Burchill: gitaar, Mel Gaynor: drums, Eddie Duffy: basgitaar, Mark Taylor: toetsen
