Microsoft Corp. and Yammer Inc. announced june 25th that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Microsoft will acquire Yammer, a leading provider of enterprise social networks, for $1.2 billion in cash. Yammer will join the Microsoft Office Division, led by division President Kurt DelBene, and the team will continue to report to current CEO David Sacks.

Jarvis Cocker blijft een behoorlijk tot de verbeelding sprekend fenomeen. Sinds het uiteenvallen van Pulp verhuisde hij naar Parijs, ontpopte zich als opiniebepalende figuur, was gelegenheidsredacteur van The Observer (maandbijlage), zong een song in de Leonard Cohen film ‘I’m Your Man’ en beschimpte Michael Jackson bij de MTV Awards.
