Ter ondersteuning van het nieuwe album ‘Night of Hunters’ zal Tori Amos op 17 oktober een concert verzorgen in Koninklijk Theater Carré te Amsterdam.
Tori Amos heeft aangekondigd dat ze in oktober op wereldtournee gaat. De tournee brengt haar naar Amsterdam voor een schitterend optreden in het Koninklijk Theater Carré op 17 oktober.
Over het album zegt Tori: “It's a 21st century song cycle inspired by classical music themes spanning over 400 years. I have used the structure of a classical song cycle to tell an ongoing, modern story. The protagonist is a woman who finds herself in the dying embers of a relationship. In the course of one night she goes through an initiation of sorts that leads her to reinvent herself allowing the listener to follow her on a journey to explore complex musical and emotional subject matter.”
Met meer dan 12 miljoen verkochte albums op haar naam is Tori Amos één van de succesvolste en invloedrijkste artiesten van haar generatie. Daarnaast staat Amos bekend als pionier, zo was zij de eerste artiest die een single ter download aanbood.

Extra concert Tori Amos in Carré
Binnen een uur waren bijna alle kaarten voor het concert van Tori Amos op 17 oktober in het Amsterdamse Theater Carré al uitverkocht.
Het management van Tori Amos heeft hierop besloten een extra concert toe te voegen op 18 oktober. Ook dit concert zal plaatsvinden in Koninklijk Theater Carré te Amsterdam.
