U2's first ever release, the EP 'Three' is to be re-released as a limited edition 12" vinyl to mark Record Store Day next month..
The three tracks, now remastered, were recorded in 1979 at Dublin's Windmill Lane Studios with producer Chas De Whalley.'Out Of Control' features on the A-side with 'Stories For Boys' and 'Boy-Girl' on the B-side.
Meanwhile, two other classic U2 releases, the albums October, from 1981, and Pop, from 1997, return this month in special editions: October on limited edition cream vinyl and Pop on limited edition orange double vinyl.
And bringing us right up to now, the much anticipated 23-track double live CD set 'U2 Live Songs of iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE' has begun rolling off the presses. This special release comes with a beautiful souvenir photo book documenting the i&e and e&i Tours - and fourteen of the live tracks (see below) are available as instant downloads when you subscribe to U2.com.
