Dua Lipa heeft haar Europese data van de Future Nostalgia Tour voor 2020 aangekondigd. De tour staat in het teken van haar nieuwe album 'Future Nostalgia' dat in 2020 uitkomt. Op donderdag 7 mei 2020 geeft de immens populaire zangeres een concert in de Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.
Dua Lipa is na twee jaar weer helemaal terug met een nieuwe tournee en haar nieuwe single ‘Don’t Start Now’, de leadtrack van het nog te verschijnen nieuwe album. ‘Don’t Start Now’ is wereldwijd al een enorme hit met tot nu toe meer dan 170 miljoen streams. Met haar uitvoering van ‘Don't Start Now’ bij The EMA’s, The AMA’s en The ARIA’s heeft Dua Lipa miljoenen fans wereldwijd bereikt.
Dua vertelt over het album: ‘Future Nostalgia’ “What I wanted to do with this album was to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favourite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine. I was inspired by so many artists on the new record from Gwen Stefani to Madonna to Moloko to Blondie and Outkast, to name just a few. “Because of the time that I’d spent on the road touring with my band I wanted ‘Future Nostalgia’ to have a lot more of a live element, but mixed together with modern electronic production. My sound has naturally matured a bit as I’ve grown up but I wanted to keep the same pop sensibility as I had on the first record. I remember that I was on my way to a radio show in Las Vegas thinking about the direction for this new record and I realised that what I wanted to make was something that felt nostalgic but had something fresh and futuristic about it too.”
De ‘Future Nostalgia’ 2020 European Arena Tour begint 26 april in Madrid en reist langs 22 verschillende steden in Europa en het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Ze sluit haar Europese tour af op 19 juni in Dublin.
Om het doorverkopen van tickets te minimaliseren, worden tickets voor deze show met een maximum van 6 tickets per persoon verkocht. Koop alleen kaarten via de officiële ticketverkoopkanalen zoals aangegeven op de DUA LIPA website, mojo.nl, ziggodome.nl en ticketmaster.nl. VIP-pakketten inclusief ‘Dua’s House Party’ zijn beschikbaar via vipnation.eu/Dualipa. Per ticket wordt er 1 euro gedoneerd aan het Sunny Hill Foundation en Unicef.
