The Buzzcocks zijn een van de belangrijkste en invloedrijkste bands ooit! Dit jaar bestaan ze 40 jaar.
Pete Shelley (zang/gitaar), Steve Diggle (zang/gitaar), Chris Remington (bas) en Danny Farrant (drums) zijn op wereldtournee om dit te vieren. Na Australië en Engeland komen ze in mei voor twee shows naar Nederland:
za 07 mei - Breda - Mezz
zo 08 mei - Amsterdam - Melkweg
De wereldtour startte in maart in Australië en Nieuw Zeeland en gaat via UK, Europa naar Noord- en Zuid Amerika.

MRC has merged label operations with Genetic Recordings Label. The label was founded in 1984 by legendary producer Martin Rushent as a spin off from his Genetic Studios enterprise.
