Het nieuwe album ‘Kaleidoscope’ zal op 5 oktober uitkomen en is het vierde studioalbum van Tiësto. De eerste single in samenwerking met Sneaky Sound System “I Will Be Here” is nu uit en de videoclip is op 7 augustus via MySpace in exclusieve wereldpremière gegaan.
Voor de videoclip heeft Tiësto de medewerking van de Japanse regisseur Muto gevraagd. Muto heeft al meer dan 20 jaar ervaring en zijn werk staat bekend om de de mooie kleurrijke beelden en staat hij garant voor het creëren van kenmerkende visuele stijlen voor verschillende grote namen uit de muziek industrie. (Death In Vegas "Scorpio Rising" Feat Liam Galigher) maar ook voor merken als Pepsi, Honda en Sony heeft hij belangrijke commercials gemaakt.
Muto over “I Will Be Here”: “it was interesting to see how Tiësto's music could be incorporated into the essence of Tokyo. One of the main elements of this, is the hard working ethic of the Japanese office worker. he works until the late hours of the night and until the song is over, then he goes to sleep. Everyday is the same routine for him, like working the late night, taking the subway and following the same course... in many ways, he's like a robot, but this time he's got a special mission. He needs to spread Tiësto's sound through the streets of Tokyo, injecting energy into the gray buildings and streets.."
Tiesto heeft voor ‘Kaleidoscope’ met vele grote artiesten gewerkt. Naast een samenwerking met Sneaky Sound System zijn op 'Kaleidoscope' samenwerkingen te horen met o.a. Jónsi van Sigur Rós, Kele Okereke van Bloc Party, Nelly Furtado, Calvin Harris, Tegan & Sara, Emily Haines van Metric, Kianna van Tilly & The Wall.
