The NFF team holds HQ's in Melbourne (Australia), London (UK) and Detroit (US). Broadcast as a one hour radio program streaming free - NFF will feature 100% live content only (no studio tracks) and focus on international artists recorded live on stage from hundreds of venues across the world. As we search for the best new talent - NFF will include a variety of musical genres and will expose both emerging and profiled artists to the world.
The Aussies Are Coming To Amsterdam On September 21 the NFF Radio Network will be travelling to Amsterdam to showcase its first Australian Export Tour. The tour will showase (6) Australian artists including: 72Blues (Melbourne based, originally from Windsor/Detroit), Lindsay Phillips (nu-folk-country), Late Nite Access (rock), 84 (retro-soul rockers), Fire Underground (40's swing-punk), and Mihirangi (New Zealand loops-n-grooves).
The NFF broadcast and Australian X-port Tour is sponsored internationally by Austrade (Australian Trade Commission), Australian Music Office, Orchard/AmpHead Music, Meinl Cymbals and by a host of community radio stations, venues, recording studios and artists contributing live music tracks from around the world.
Why Amsterdam? NFF is coming to Amsterdam to team up with Undertow Recordings (Alkmaar) labelmanager Sicco Roukema - Undertow boasts a hefty Australian music roster and the Dutch audience loves Australian rock n' roll. This will be the first time Amsterdam has ever played host to an exclusive Australian Showcase of artists alongside the initiative of the New Found Frequency Radio Network.
